For our second show of 2024 we are very excited to bring you an exhibition of Abstract artworks by the wonderful artists – Dennis Buchan, Susie Leiper and Dominique Cameron complemented by Jane Sarre's evocative ceramics and Richard Goldsworthy's intriguing sculptural forms.
Abstract art challenges the traditional notions of form and structure. The creation of an abstract artwork can often become a kind of conversation between the artist and their medium, a push and pull between chaos and control. Emotions and energies are played out through colour, form and mark making.
We invite you to suspend your preconceived notions and let go of the need to find concrete representation. Come and explore the world of abstract art where vibrant colour, bold shapes and energetic mark making create a visual feast and give us a unique insight into the minds of the artists.
