Our prize winner from the SSA open exhibition 2021, multi-award winning Christy Burdock, will have a solo show of her extraordinary work in our smaller gallery.
Christy’s work in the SSA show at the RSA, ‘Hung Up to Dry’, stopped us in our tracks. Whilst being a subtle and quietly understated piece, we were bowled over by its beauty, humour and stunning draughtsmanship.
Christy’s works always carry a narrative, her gorgeous dreamlike scenarios document British life – its culture, politics and heritage. We are over the moon to be bringing some of them to Tatha for you to enjoy!
