We are delighted to be able to show three of Scotland’s most innovative and imaginative artists. Derrick Guild, Chris Orr and Edward Summerton To a certain extent we are all Colonists, sometimes lost sometimes not, trying to explore the foreign land of our experiences. The work of these artists, although unique, carry very comprehensible messages, each of them illustrates a unique perspective on everyday life from Dundee gangs through expansive landscapes to simple flower specimens. This exhibition reflects Tatha Gallery’s message, which is to reveal the hidden value of the meaningful things in life and to do this in a way that makes it accessible to everyone. Like the humble potato we believe many of our most valuable things are much more subtle than expected.
