We welcome you to our second show of 2020. Close Interaction explores ideas of how artists react and interact with their subject matter. These three artists – each based in Scotland – have unique methods of interpreting the northern landscape. Close encounters, observing the details, capturing the vast by painting en-plein air, or, perhaps through the distilled examination of experiencing the ethereal sense of belonging when engaging with a landscape and its edges. This show offers you a personal insight and a different perspective, an up-close and personal experience of our much-loved land.
