Meg’s paintings invite you to reflect on the complexities of human experience and the fluid nature of reality. By blurring the lines of realism, the works evoke a sense of personal nostalgia and introspection. Each painting is a reflection of her own experiences and perceptions but leaves room for the viewer to interpret and connect with their own personal narratives.
Her paintings serve as a reminder that our perceptions of the world are constantly evolving and shifting and that there is beauty to be found embracing uncertainty that comes with it. This particular series of work revolves around relationships of all kinds, capturing the layered emotions, dynamics and connections that define our interactions with others.
